Emory Fernandez

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Bos International Fund’s Founder holds the esteemed positions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer within the organization. Additionally, he serves as the lead Portfolio Manager for the Bos International Fund and the Bos International Fund Asia Fund. Furthermore, he holds the exclusive role of being the sole Portfolio Manager for the Bosinternational Funds Optimum Fund.

Before founding Bos International Fund in 2006, the esteemed Founder had an illustrious career, including serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Savings of America from 1976 to 1982. During his tenure, he introduced groundbreaking initiatives such as the “Solar T-Bill” program, which facilitated financing for solar energy installations, contributing to the advancement of sustainable energy practices. Additionally, he pioneered innovative programs to finance housing for low and moderate-income individuals, demonstrating his commitment to social and community development.

Bentley Calderon

VICE PRESIDENT, PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Bentley Calderon holds the esteemed position of President at Bos International Fund and concurrently serves as the Portfolio Manager for the Bos International Fund Core Equity Fund. His journey with Bos International Fund began in 2009 when he joined as a Senior Research Analyst. Notably, he had previously been a research intern at the firm, showcasing his commitment to growth within the organization. Demonstrating exceptional performance and expertise, Mr. Calderon was promoted to the role of Director of Research in 2012. His leadership and profound understanding of the market led him to assume the responsibility of Portfolio Manager for the Bos International Fund Core Equity Fund in the same year.

Before joining Bos International Fund, Mr. Bentley Calderon held prominent positions at Goldman Sachs in New York. He began his tenure at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Analyst, where he gained valuable experience in the intricacies of investment banking. Subsequently, he advanced to become the bank’s Global Equities Strategist, demonstrating his expertise in strategizing and navigating the global equities landscape. Raised in London, Mr. Alexander’s academic journey led him to Kings College, Cambridge. He achieved a bachelor’s degree in government, acquiring valuable insights into the workings of political systems and governance. Additionally, he completed the general course in philosophy at the prestigious London School of Economics (L.S.E.), further broadening his intellectual horizons.

Serena Horn

VICE PRESIDENT, PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Serena Horn is a talented and driven junior analyst at Bos International Fund, where he holds the prestigious position of lead Portfolio Manager for the Bos International Fund Mid Cap Fund. His journey with Bos International Fund began in 2006 when he joined as a research intern, showcasing his dedication to building a successful career within the organization. Before joining Bos International Fund, Mr. Horn gained valuable experience as a member of the Equity Research team at Bank of Ireland in Dublin. This role allowed him to develop a deep understanding of equity markets and analysis. Prior to that, he held various positions in equity research and asset management at UBS Securities, honing his skills in the financial industry. Academically, Serena Horn earned his bachelor’s degree in Business & Economics from the esteemed Queens University Belfast, where he gained a strong foundation in business principles and economics. He further enhanced his qualifications by earning a master’s degree in business administration from the renowned University of Oxford, which equipped him with advanced knowledge and expertise in various aspects of business and finance. With his combined experience and education, Mr. Horn plays a pivotal role as the lead Portfolio Manager of the Bos International Fund Mid Cap Fund. His dedication to research and analysis ensures that the fund’s investment decisions are well-informed and aligned with the firm’s goals and values. Wilson Rios

VICE PRESIDENT, PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Wilson Rios is a highly skilled professional at Bos International Fund, serving as a Portfolio Manager for the Bos International Fund Mid Cap Fund while also holding the position of Senior Research Analyst. His journey with Bos International Fund began in 2006, starting as a research intern and showcasing his dedication to growth within the organization. Before joining Bos International Fund, Mr. Rios gained valuable experience through internships at Barclays and as a Junior Associate in the investment banking division of Robertson Stephens & Company. These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in the financial industry and honed his analytical and strategic skills. Wilson Rios holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the distinguished University of Bristol, England. His academic background in economics equipped him with a solid understanding of economic principles and their practical applications in the financial world. With his extensive experience and expertise, Mr. Rios plays a crucial role in managing the Bos International Fund Mid Cap Fund, overseeing investment decisions and optimizing returns for clients. Additionally, his contributions as a Senior Research Analyst further enhance the firm’s research capabilities and decision-making processes. Brooke Rojas

SENIOR WEALTH MANAGER

Brooke Rojas is a seasoned professional within our team, holding the position of a senior wealth manager with a specialization in U.S. equities. He became a valuable member of the Bos International Fund in 2015, and his expertise has greatly contributed to our success. Before joining our firm, Charles accumulated significant experience in the financial industry. He served as an analyst at Barclays Wealth, where he honed his analytical skills and gained valuable insights into the market. Following that, he worked as a U.S. equity broker at HSBC, further expanding his knowledge and proficiency in handling U.S. equity investments. Charles possesses a strong academic background, having earned a degree in economics from the prestigious London School of Economics (L.S.E.). His education has equipped him with a solid understanding of economic principles and their practical applications in the financial world. With his wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of U.S. equities, Charles is an essential asset to our team. Colin Davidson

PORTFOLIO MANAGER, RESEARCH ANALYST

Colin Davidson is a talented individual serving as the Portfolio Manager of the Bos International Funds Majestic Fund, alongside being a Junior Research Analyst. He has been an integral part of Bos International Funds since 2011, initially joining as a research intern before assuming his current roles. Mr. Andre’s diverse experience and expertise have contributed significantly to the success of the fund. Before joining Bos International Funds, he gained valuable experience working at renowned financial institutions such as Scotiabank and TD Bank Financial Group in South Africa. These experiences have further honed his skills in the financial industry and provided him with a strong foundation for his current positions. Mr. Andre holds an undergraduate degree in commerce from the esteemed University of Cape Town, which laid the groundwork for his career in finance. To further enhance his knowledge and qualifications, he pursued a master’degree in business administration from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley. With a combination of hands-on experience, academic achievements, and a commitment to excellence, Philip Andre plays a pivotal role in the success of the Bos International Funds Majestic Fund. Jayla Bowen

PORTFOLIO MANAGER, SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST

Jayla Bowen is a distinguished professional at Bos International Funds, holding the positions of Portfolio Manager for the Bos International Funds Large Cap Fund and Senior Research Analyst. He has been an integral part of Bos International Funds since 2012, initially starting as a research intern, highlighting his commitment to growth within the organization. Recognized for his exceptional achievements in the financial industry, Mr. Clarke received the prestigious honor of being named one of Forbes’ “30 Under 30” in Finance in 2015, a testament to his remarkable talent and contributions to the field. Before joining Bos International Funds, Michael Clarke gained valuable experience at esteemed financial institutions, including Neuberger Berman and City Light Capital, further honing his expertise in the financial sector. His academic accomplishments are equally impressive, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Brown University. At Brown, he received the esteemed Joslin Award in recognition of his outstanding commitment to leadership and service. Mr. Clarke earned his bachelor’s degree with concentrations in public & private sector organizations and sociology, showcasing his diverse interests and multidisciplinary approach. With his combination of hands-on experience, academic excellence, and exceptional leadership qualities, Michael Clarke plays a pivotal role in managing the Bos International Funds Large Cap Fund and conducting insightful research as a Senior Research Analyst. Trevor Spencer

EQUITY TRADER

Trevor Spencer is a skilled Equity Trader with a diverse background in risk management and economics. He became a valuable member of Bos International Funds in 2009, bringing with him experience as an Analyst at Accenture Consulting, where he specialized in risk management for critical assets. His expertise in this area has proven to be an asset in his role as an Equity Trader. Mr. Andrews earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the prestigious London School of Economics (L.S.E.). During his time at L.S.E., he not only excelled academically but also demonstrated his leadership abilities as the co-captain and goalkeeper of the water polo team. With a solid foundation in economics, coupled with his risk management expertise, Trevor Spencer is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of equity trading.
